Areas Charlie's Guardian Angels serves
Charlie's Guardian Angels provides a second chance to make a forever impression. We rescue dogs in neglectful situations or from high-kill shelters that euthanize dogs due to lack of space. We have a network of foster families that care for the rescues and help them transition to permanent homes. We primarily serve the Seattle metropolitan area, but will consider traveling on a case by case basis. All of our adoptable dogs are up-to-date on vaccines; spayed/ neutered, temperament assessed, and had extensive training.

Charlie’s Guardian Angels meticulously matches our rescued dogs with potential adopters. Families looking to adopt from Charlie’s Guardian Angels will be required to complete an adoption application prior to the initial meeting. If the potential adopters wish to proceed, a $100 deposit is collected to hold the dog while references are checked and the application is pending approval. The $100 deposit goes towards the adoption cost. If the application is not approved the deposit will be reimbursed. The cost for adult dogs is $250, for puppies is $300, and senior is $200. Charlie’s Guardian Angels does require a home check which will take place after the application is approved. If for any reason the new family member doesn’t work out, the dog is required to be returned to Charlie’s Guardian Angels. Fifty percent of the adoption cost is refundable within two weeks of the adoption date, restrictions do apply.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
