We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization. Our mission is to rescue roadside dogs and cats, spay/neuter, medically and emotionally treat, then place them in loving, forever homes. We also work hard to raise awareness about pet issues such as nutrition, proper vaccination schedules and the importance of spay/neuter, foster, volunteering, adopting and donating to help our city and surrounding area shelters save as many lives as possible. We serve Austin, Texas and surrounding communities

$150 adoption fee. Our online contract is on our website. We require references as well as a home check. We also require a meeting with existing pets in the household. We also do follow up checks to ensure the safety and happiness of our adoptees.

We are a small (3 people) rescue. Our main purpose is animal advocacy. We teach pet owners about the importance of spay/neuter and proper care and love of dogs & cats. We also feed, spay/neuter community cats to help keep down the feral cat population. We are active in our community and help to get dogs off of chains and into homes where they belong. We find our rescue dogs on roadsides. Some we are able to find their homes, they were just lost. However, most were dumped and need medical & emotional care as well as spay/neuter. We take the utmost care of our rescues. Therefore, we are ALWAYS in need of donations so we can continue to stop and save these precious lives. We have rescued and placed hundreds of dogs into beautiful, loving homes.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
