Our mission is to aid the citizens of Independence County in the rescue and adoption of abandoned, abused, or injured animals. The Humane Society of Independence County believes that a strong bond between human and animal is beneficial to both parties, creating an atmosphere of love and companionship that lasts a lifetime.
