SPAY-LEE, Inc is an animal welfare organization, totally comprised of volunteers. We serve the pets and people of Lee County and surrounding areas. We have a three hour drive time rule for adoptions.. meaning if it takes us more than 3 hours to drive to your home from Fort Myers, we will not approve an adoption.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is all our rescues are fully vetted and spayed or neutered before placing in a loving home. We adopt by application, references, home visits and a contract. Our contract is easily followed by a responsible pet owner. Our adoption fees range from $75 to $400 , largely depending on our cost to bring an animal to adoptability. There are times that we have spent hundreds to thousands of dollars on a needy but deserving animal. Of course we cannot expect people to reimburse us for expenses that exceptional.
