Love Every Animal Rescue Shelter's adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to save as many pets as possible!
All of the pets that we have up for adoption will be posted here and we will update as often as we are able.
If you are interested in any of our babies please either call us 615-878-9007 or email us and we will send you an adoption application for you to complete. As soon as we receive a completed application we can begin the adoption process.

We do have an adoption contract and adoption process, as well as a mandatory adoption fee for each animal. Adult Dogs and Cats are usually $100 and Puppies and Kittens are usually $150 unless there are special needs for the animal involved.

If you are located outside of our area and want to adopt one of our animals you can call us or send us an email and we can send you and adoption application and we will go through the adoption process with you, however, we do not ship animals under any circumstances and unfortunately, unless you are willing to pay for the expenses to have us bring the animal to you, you will need to come and meet with us and pick up the pet from here.

About Love Every Animal Rescue Shelter

LoveEveryAnimalRescueShelter is a family and volunteer run Non Profit, NO KILL, Rescue Shelter and sanctuary. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, shelter, give sanctuary to and protect every animal that needs help. As well as educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering pets and how to be a responsible pet owner. We service all of Middle Tennessee and the surrounding areas.

We rescue dogs, puppies, cats and kittens and other animals that have been abandoned, abused, neglected or mistreated and they are either placed in a foster care home or cared for in a home setting with us. We also take in animals from people that can no longer care for or support their pet.
Every single animal is vet cared for, vaccinated, spayed or neutered if needed, nurtured and showered with love, attention and affection. They are socialized and given basic training if time allows before being adopted. Every animal is evaluated so that they are placed or adopted into the perfect forever home.

If for some medical or other reason the animal is deemed unadoptable we keep them with us for the remainder of their lives and they become one of our forever babies. They do not live in a shelter setting, they live in a home with tons of love, care, affection and attention for the rest of their lives.
We are working very hard to raise the funds to become a non profit, 501c3 shelter rescue (which is quite expensive), but our first priority is to care for our new rescues and maintain the needs of our older rescues.
We realize that since we are not a non profit, 501c3 rescue shelter right now that people hesitate to donate to us because you can not deduct the donation off of your taxes, and we do understand, however, we do need donations and your help just as much as all of the non profit,501c3 rescue shelters out there. Our only and every concern rests with being able to continue what we are doing for the sake of the thousands of animals that need help and there are just not enough rescue shelters (especially those of us that are not animal or breed specific, we take in every breed and every animal that needs us) and we all, whether we are non profit or not, need help from all of you out there that love animals as much as we do.
We do have an application and adoption process and we do have a mandatory donation with every adoption (EVERY single penny goes back into the rescue shelter for medical care, spay and neuter, food and maintenance for all of our animals new and older rescues). Adoption fees are normally $100 for already spade or neutered animals and adults, puppies and kittens are $150. We do home inspections and we have very specific stipulations regarding the medical and life care of the adopted animal, including a mandatory spay and neuter clause if the animal is still to young to have the procedure done. We require a vets name and appt date for that to be done and WE DO FOLLOW UP and make sure that it gets done. We do also reserve the right to refuse an adoption. All of these things are included in our adoption contract so that we can make absolute sure that we adopt our animals out to responsible, loving forever homes.
We love what we do and we pray and hope that we can keep growing and continue doing what we do. Our prayers are that some day there won't be such a need for rescues and shelters and that every single pet owner and lover has the same vision as we do.
We need to be responsible people and spay and neuter our pets so that this over population, euthanizing animals and irresponsible behavior stops and all of these babies can stop suffering so needlessly and maybe we as rescue shelters and sanctuaries won't be so overwhelmed and in need of so much help.
Lets all make that our mission, but in the mean time, please donate and help us reach for that goal.
If you would like to see all of the animals that we have rescued, adopted out and all of the forever babies that we have now, please go see our facebook page and go to our albums. We do have more babies to post for this coming weekend so look for them as well. We are proud to show the work that we have done, all of our wonderful babies and we are always available for your questions and to help with any advise that we can give on how to be a wonderful, loving responsible pet owner. You can contact us any time by phone or email and if we can’t answer the phone we will call you back asap.

Love Every Animal Rescue Shelter's adopted pets

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Nunnelly, TN.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
