About St. Francis Animal Protection Society

A Northern California nonprofit founded in 1971, we're a small, but mighty group of volunteers bringing help, hope, and healing to animals and the people who love them.

We approach rescue with an open heart, an open mind, and an innovative spirit.

Together, we engage, educate, and empower our community in the fight for our most vulnerable cats and dogs.

Come Meet St. Francis Animal Protection Society's Pets

We don't have a physical facility -- all our adoptable animals are loved to perfection in foster homes until they make a love connection.
