Poor Paws Rescue's Adoption Process
1. Submit Application
From a computer, submit an application from our website www.poorpawsrescue.com/apply-to-adopt.html
2. Approve Application
We will review the application and contact references. Once we've completed the process, we will contact the applicant.
3. Interview
A Poor Paws Volunteer will contact you.
4. Pay Fee
Adoption fee is $400
5. Sign Adoption Contract
6. Take the Pet Home
Our adoption application process includes reference checks, vet reference and a home visit. Our dogs are vetted, up to date on shots, spayed/neutered (if of age) and microchipped.

We save dogs from high kill shelters primarily in the South and provide essential care through veterinary and foster partnerships to help them their loving forever homes.
