Rescue FAQs

We are a "Bully Breed" dog rescue based out of Lake Charles, Louisiana, but saving dogs throughout the state. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned dogs in order to ulimately achieve a no-kill statue in Louisiana.

Additional adoption info

In order to adopt a dog from LBBDR, the potential adopter must first fill out an adoption application. If the application is approved and the vet reference is good. We will do a meet and greet with their dog of choice. Next. we will perform a home visit. The adoption fee is $200 which includes all vetting (spay/neuter, rabies, heartworm treatment, shots, etc.).
