Paws and Stars Animal Rescue's adoption process
1.
Submit Application
Once the application is approved we will have a phone interview
2.
Meet the Pet
The meets and greets are either held in Lawrenceville on our property or during a home visit.
3.
Take the Pet Home
I everybody seems to be a good match, the adoption papers will be signed, the adoption fee is due and the pet can leave with you

We only meet with pre approved applicants after an application was submitted and properly screened.
If you already have pets, you need to have proof of vaccinations, spay and neuter, Heartworm test and prevention.
All our animals are family members and will be not adopted out to a consistent outdoor living situation.
The applicant and the Co applicant have to be 25 years of age or older.
As a potential adopter you have to agree to a house visit prior adoption.
We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of 5 and not to first time dog owners outside of our state.
We do not allow invisible fences or any type of tie outs at any time
The adoption fee varies but all our animals will be adopted out up to date on vaccines, heartworm test,spayed or neutered and micro chipped

We are a group of 3 rescuers who dedicate their time and passion to safe unwanted animals
The reason why I'm doing this is because there are way too many animals suffering and dieing daily in shelters and not enough people who can or want to offer help.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
