1 - 20 of 126 Adoptable Pets at This Shelter

Areas Lee County Humane Society Serves

We serve the cities of Auburn and Opelika in Alabama.

Lee County Humane Society's Adoption Process

Puppies and kittens are $125
Adult dogs are $105
Adult Cats are $90

Adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, UTD vaccines, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV (cats), microchip and registration, and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Once you meet an animal you want to adopt, you'll fill out an application. We'll read through and go over it with you. Once that's approved we'll set up a counseling session to go over all paperwork with you.

Dogs must go home in a collar and leash and cats must leave in a carrier. Both of which can be purchased at the shelter. .
