Primarily helping Beauregard and Vernon Parish, LA, Pound Dogs or "street" dogs, rescuing out of the local high kill shelters and holding facility and placing them in foster homes. Dogs are completely vetted before adoption, including spay or neuter.

All our dogs/pups are utd on shots, spayed or neutered, on heartworm prevention and microchipped before adoption. We ask our adopters to fill out adoption application to ensure the best match for you and your new pet, this includes a veterinarian check for currently owned/previous pets and we ask for two personal references. Our current adoption fees are $100.

About Louisiana Lifeline for K-9's
We are a foster based small rescue group and our mission is simple:
-To rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned animals, mainly in Beauregard and Vernon Parish.
-To reduce pet overpopulation by educating pet owners about the benefits of spay/neuter and implementing low cost spay/neuter programs.
-To prevent cruelty, abuse and neglect of animals in Beauregard and Vernon Parish.
- To ultimately achieve a "No Kill" community through educating, inspiring and collaborating with others to end euthanasia as a means to control animal population.
