Areas Friends of Orangeburg County Animal Control serves
We are a small rescue group that works directly with our county's animal shelter. This is a kill shelter, but since we began our relationship with the shelter, they have gone from a 90% kill rate to a 30% kill rate. Still not acceptable, but we are trying really hard. Our county is mostly a rural area and animals are not always treated great and spay/neuter is not widely used.
