We have an adoption application that can be filled out here. As long as you have a yard with a good fence, or plan to have the dog inside exclusively we can adopt a dog that will be a good match for you and your family (including all members of the family that are not of human origin).
The cost of adoption varies from dog to dog, but typically is 90+ depending on the weight of the dog. If a dog has come in spayed/neutered it will be less. It is also less if they come in with proof of current shots, as these things are all itemized on the fee schedule and can be removed if they are not necessary.
We microchip the dogs on sight, however we do not have a vet on sight. If you choose to adopt an animal that is old enough to be spayed/neutered, you complete the forms and pay the fees, and we make arrangements with a vet. We will give you information on when you can pick the dog up from the vet after the procedure is done. We take them in, you pick them up and take them home.
