All of our available pets have been fully vetted and spayed/neutered. They have been temperament tested and have spent time in a loving foster home! Our adoption donation's vary depending on how much has been spent on them.

About Zeena's Sanctuary & Pet Rescue, Inc.
Zeena was the President/Founder’s (Lissette) first ever dog. She was an amazingly sweet and smart little Pug/Shih-Tzu mix that sadly passed away during a routing spay procedure at the young age of 6 months. Due to this loss Lissette and her husband (Shawn) began rescuing pets in Zeena’s name. She started small with another rescue and moved up within it. She has saved many pet’s and felt that she could do so much more by starting her very own sanctuary and pet rescue. Lissette has 6+ years of rescue experience and over 100 pets saved. She is interested in educating the community and making strong strides towards ending breeding and the suffering of innocent pets. We are the voice of abused and abandoned pets. They deserve happiness and love at any age and at any state. We rehabilitate and re-home them carefully and thoughtfully with no other purpose than to improve their qualities of life and bring happiness to the families that adopt them. Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.
What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
