To adopt from IYGAS, you must...
- Have current identification showing your present address.
- Be 18 years of age or older and have the consent of your household.
- Have the consent of your landlord if you rent.
- Be willing and able to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for your pet.
We recommend a minimum $25 donation in lieu of an adoption fee.
The process:
1. Come in to the shelter and meet the animal.
2. Fill out an adoption application.
3. Speak with a shelter staff member about your application.
Most applications can be processed the same day and then your furever friend can go home with you!
