Areas Slumdog Rescue Crew serves

Slumdog Rescue Crew is a canine rescue located in Knoxville, TN. We are dedicated to rescuing URGENT dogs from the "slums" of high-risk shelters. We are a volunteer-based organization with years of animal and rescue experience amongst our volunteers. Slumdog Rescue is devoted to helping the most needy of the canines, rehabilitating the dogs under our care to physical and emotional health as they await their permanent homes.

We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed homes, following an adoption process which includes an adoption application, vet reference check and home visit. Our adoption fees effective 2/01/2021 are $200.00 for adult dogs and $250.00 for puppies.

About Slumdog Rescue Crew

Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while awaiting their forever home. We assist URGENT dogs regardless of age, breed or special needs.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
