City of Taylor Animal Shelter's Adoption Process

Fees for adoption are $85 for non-sterilized dogs/cats and $50 for sterilized dogs/cats. There is a sterilization refund of $30 once the dog/ cat is sterilized. There is a contract that is needed to be completed at time of adoption. The sterilization is required by the contract. We do not accept cash or checks. Only credit and debit cards are accepted at time of adoption.

The Taylor Animal Shelter is a municipal ran no-kill shelter for adoptable dogs and cats. The shelter provides many services, such as animal adoptions, lost and found animals, licensing, animal rescue within the city, and responding to the complaints of residents regarding neglected and loose animals. Our goal is to get every animal that comes through the shelter into the forever home they deserve. We have a variety of dogs and cats available through out the year for adoption so please come in and see these wonderful pets.
