ADOPTION PROCESS
-Find a dog you are interested in adopting at one of our events or online
-Meet the dog to determine if you feel it is a good fit for you and your family
-Make any introductions necessary with existing pets
-Take the dog home for a 1 week trial adoption so you can get to know him/her better and learn if the dog fits well with your lifestyle
-Finalize the adoption paperwork with Pawtown Angels, pay the fee
-Enjoy your new family member!

About Paw Town Angels
PawTown Angels is a non-profit dog rescue organization based
in Phoenix, Arizona. We are geared towards saving dogs
who are wrongfully placed on the euthanasia list at our
county shelters. While most of our dogs are rescued from
the pound we also take in owner surrenders as well.
Our goal is to help these unfortunate pups find their perfect
forever home. We accomplish this goal by placing the dogs
in foster homes to help rehabilitate them and get them ready
to be a member of some lucky new family. We also believe it
is our responsibility as pet owners and rescuers to do our
part to ensure the health and safety of all the precious dogs that pass through our doors. All of our adoptable dogs are vetted, spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
We are a foster based rescue and rely on our volunteers and donations in order to continue to save lives. We are always looking for new fosters to give our puppies a temporary loving home while they wait to find their forever home. Volunteers help at our adoption events and with transportation of the dogs when needed. Donations fund the rescue so we can make sure all of the dogs we save are healthy and ready for their second chance.
PawTown Angels works diligently to do our part to help solve the animal overpopulation and high euthanasia rates that plague the Phoenix metro area.
We have become a tight team and family driven to help those without a voice and in need of a second chance.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
