My Story

This handsome boy is Eddie and he is looking for his forever home with lots of toys and snuggle time. He is an approximately 19-month old male Border Collie/Labrador mix who weighs about 45-50 lbs. Eddie has the softest fur and once you meet him you'll never want to stop petting him.

Eddie loves to play with his dog friends in his foster home and loves to snuggle. He is a really sweet dog who thrives around other dogs and does great at doggy daycare.

Eddie is good with kids. He has lived with a 9-month old baby and did very well with her when she crawled/walked around. However, he can be shy so older kids might be a better fit for him. No cats!

Eddie's forever home wish list consists of a home with a doggy friend to play with and a family that will spend a lot of time cuddling and giving him attention. He's a little shy at first so he needs a family who will be patient with him while he gets to know them!

Eddie definitely needs another dog in the home as he gets his confidence from another dog friend. He would not adjust well without another dog.

Eddie is house, leash, and crate trained.

Eddie is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $150.

If you would like to adopt Eddy and make him a part of your family, please contact ForeverYoursOKC@gmail.com.

Adoption Process

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veternarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake.

We require an adoption application (http://www.adoptapet.com/forever-yours-dog-rescue/adoption-application/), a house check, and our adoption fee is $150.00.

If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet.
