My Story

Hope is an approximately 2 year old pit bull mix who weighs about 55 lbs. Hope was in a horrible small town shelter in Oklahoma that allows no adoptions, so rescue is the only way out. We were alerted by a volunteer about what an awesome dog she is, so we picked her up the next day.

Hope is so full of love for people. She just wants to be with her people. She is very loyal and smart. Hope is selective about her doggy friends, specifically females. She seems to love the male dogs. She will need to meet any dogs in the home. Hope has not been in a foster home with children but seems to do great with them at outreaches. She is not good with cats.

Hope is crate, leash, and house trained. She is spayed, microshipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm preventative.

Hope has been in a foster home but due to a change in living situation, she is now without a foster. If you would like to adopt or foster Hope, please contact foreveryoursokc@gmail.com. Her adoption fee is $150 but it costs nothing to foster.

Adoption Process

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veternarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake.

We require an adoption application (http://www.adoptapet.com/forever-yours-dog-rescue/adoption-application/), a house check, and our adoption fee is $150.00.

If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet.
