My Story

This sweet boy is Zeus. He is a 2 year old Boxer mix who weighs 50 lbs. Zeus was rescued from a small outdoor shelter. He was getting depressed in the shelter so we had to take him out and find him a foster. He is still looking for a foster home.

Zeus has a happy go-lucky personality. He is a total goofball and very lovable. Zeus loves his person and loves other playful dogs. He has the best time when he gets to run around the yard with his dog friends or play with them at day care. He just likes to be active so also loves walking or running with his person. Zeus is good with other playful dogs his size. He is not good with the cats. Due to his energetic nature, he'd do best with older kids.

Zeus would like a home where he has an active family who could walk/run him daily. He needs an energy outlet so a playful dog would also help. He needs a secure 6ft fence as he can jump over a shorter fence.

Zeus is crate, leash, and house trained. Zeus has been diagnosed with IBD so will need a special diet - he eats a fish protein diet and does fine with that.

Zeus is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $150.

If you would like to adopt Zeus and make him a part of your family, please contact ForeverYoursOKC@gmail.com.

Adoption Process

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veternarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake.

We require an adoption application (http://www.adoptapet.com/forever-yours-dog-rescue/adoption-application/), a house check, and our adoption fee is $150.00.

If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet.
