Greeting Hoomans! My name is MurderFlops and I require your assistance. I seek to find a hooman companion to adopt, so that they may serve and worship me as I plot to take over the world. After all, I'm almost 3 years old, which is a good age to start setting up my kingdom and planning world domination ...
When I flop and expose my cute, soft (and maybe slightly squishy) belly, I can easily draw in my victims, and once I have them where I want them, I can attack! My good looks, clever mind and high energy make me the purrfect, cute and murderous creature that I am.
I'm so clever, in fact, that I have convinced my foster mom to spoil me with extra treats when I do awesome things. Just check out some of my videos and see all the fun things I know. I can sit, I can give a high five and even a high ten. I know how to jump through a hoop and I am working on new things all the time to show off what a genius I am. Some people in the rescue think she's training me, but let's be honest, I'm the one in charge here.
In addition to being the smartest cat around, I'm also quick, fierce and I am a mighty hunter of toys. My absolute favorite toy (which is super cheap and can be found at Meijer *wink-wink*) is a light foam ball with a feathered tail. I chase them and toss them high into the air before I jump up and attack them; all to hone my murderous ways. When I'm done, you better believe there will be carnage to clean up and small, colorful bits of foam and feathers everywhere.
When I'm done with my toys, I enjoy snuggling on the couch with my foster mom, sharing with her my evil plot as she gives me lots of scritches. If she's not available for cuddles, I also enjoy lounging on cat towers in front of the window, soaking up sunlight (cats are secretly solar-powered - in case you didn't know) while I plot world domination. So, if you think yourself worthy, fill out an application and let's talk, because I'm definitely ready to adopt a hooman of my own. Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
