I am Cassius. I am a Super Hero that has had a rough road already. I am just a Baby and I have 4 surgeries under my belt. If you look at my pictures you can see that my pee pee cover was cut open. Yep, you read that right, sliced open. That is not the worst of it. I was taken by an ACO truck to the pound and ended up as an Urgent Dog in need.
CLHR saw me and said, we have to get this baby and get him all fixed up. They did, 3 times, but my stitches would not hold. So I am in a special foster home right now until I can have my final surgery. I have to grow a little bit so my skin can be pulled over my wee man and keep him covered.
I can be pre- adopted to the right house and CLHR will make sure I get my surgery and get all better. My hammock needs to be sewn over my rocket, but that is not stopping me one bit. I rule this house and I love to play. I really like to play in dirt which drives my foster mom crazy...I am a dirt bullie she says!
How can you not love me? I mean I am sweet and cuddly. I will be a great adult as long as you keep up with my training. It will actually be a requirement to take me through a training program to further solidify my good manners. See my foster mom is a trainer and she has been working with me non stop. CLHR will make sure you do not stop.
Before you apply for me make sure that your insurance allows my breed. I can not be adopted by renters so you need to own your home and show CLHR that I am not prohibited from your coverage. I would hate to get into a home just to find out that I have to be returned due to you not doing your homework. Since many Military bases also no longer accept my breed I hate to say I can not be placed with a military family unless you are on your last Duty Station and own your home already. All of this is in place to ensure I get a forever home and not a forever until we move home! You may not like this but I like it since they care enough about me to make sure I will be taken care of.

1. Go to our web site and fill out an application..Nothing will move forward until you do.

2. We will give you a call within 72 hours after receiving a complete application
3. Once we speak to you and feel you are a good fit, we will set up a meet and greet
4. Once we meet and do a home visit we can then and only then finalize an adoption. Every member of your household must be present for this meeting
5. We do adopt out of state and will do a home visit out of state as well
6. You can either drive to pick up your pet or you can pay for transportation to have your pet delivered to you.
7. All animals in your house MUST be spayed/neutered unless you have medical documentation preventing you from doing so. NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Unless you have outside working dogs we will not adopt to a home with outside dogs
9. Fence is not required.
10. Must be 25 or above to adopt (exceptions may be made case by case)
11. Adoption fee is $250 which includes a fully vetted/spayed/neutered/micro-chipped and up to date animal
