My story

Looking for a lap dog, a cuddle bug, a happy-go-lucky girl-well, look no further because Carmella (Sadie) is the girl for you. This lovely little Golden mix girl who weighs only 47 lbs has quite the personality and good manners to go along with it. She came to GREAT Rescue via a rural shelter and it was pretty obvious that she lead a very difficult life with no care. After months in her foster home, she is now the girl she was always supposed to be-in good health, happy, athletic (?) and loving. Carmella is about 7 years old and is living in a foster home with another young Golden mix and a cat. She is heartworm negative, spayed, current on vaccinations, wormed and getting excellent care. She does have a little arthritis but some meds are taking care of that and she's now going on long walks -over a mile long-each day. Not one to cause any trouble, she is very good in the house and car, doesn't counter surf or get on furniture unless invited, of course. Talk about Happy-this girl's fluffy tail never stops wagging!!!
