My story

Noel is a 20 lbs, 4 year old, loving little guy. He is crate-trained and knows basic commands like "sit". His foster 'mom' describes him as a "lap dog" because he loves affection. Noel is a typical small terrier in that he enjoys exercise and chasing small critters (so no cats).
Noel was found wandering the streets of Miami looking for food and attention. MPAC took him to a vet clinic to treat his eye injury and cure him of heartworm. He's now ready for a loving, permanent home!

Why adoption is a great option

Noel, a Miami Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier for sale in Miami, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
