Rio is a handsome, loyal boy! This poor pup was found wandering around the country dirty and emaciated. Now, he is happy and healthy, and is looking for a family of his own who can show him all the love in the world. Rio would love a family that can take him for walks/runs and play with him frequently, and that won't leave him unattended in the backyard. He is a sweet pup who loves to cuddle on the couch and chew rawhides (and bones, and any toys really!). He is still quite young, only a bit over a year, so he does still have some of that puppy energy. Rio crates pretty well and is mostly housetrained. Once this boy is shown kindness, he is your best friend for life, so don't miss out on this handsome pup!

Rio is fully vetted and ready to go! His adoption fee is only $50, since he is "special needs" due to be heartworm positive. Adopters agree to continue treating him for heartworms using monthly preventative, with follow up heartworm tests each year.
