Get ready to have your heart stolen! This is the beautiful miss Marley and she's a 14 month old shepherd mix searching for her forever home! She's currently located in Vancouver, Washington.
This little lady has been through a rough go of being left to fend for herself in a number of ways during her short 14 month life. It is finally her turn at “the good life”! She was rescued by her current foster mom at the beginning of November after being out in the cold, on her own, for 8 days. She is very active shepherd mix, as a puppy should be, and all around a happy kid. She likes to explore, play with her toys, loves to snuggle, and most of all loves kisses. She is still a puppy, and a very strong one at that, and can be a bit mouthy but her foster mom is working on it with her. She can be fearful of sudden noises, but calms quickly.
Marley girl prefers to sleep in the bed with you, either next to you or happily at the foot of your bed. She isn’t a big fan of crates, but will lay in them with her 4 legged sisters. She is housetrained and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She will also let you know if she doesn’t. J She gets up at 7am and is hungry, and like to be in bed by 9 pm J She is working on her leash manners and would do well with more work and formal training. She is not a fan of walking on busy streets with lots of cars. She is food motivated and highly trainable.
This special girl is great with other dogs at her foster moms and on walks. She has not been cat tested, although she does have a small dog here that is a good buddy! Because of her age, her strength, and her mouthy-ness, she will need experienced dog owners with no children under the age of 12.
