My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!! My name is Roxy. I am about 6 years old. I used to have a loving family but they had to move and were not aloud to take me with them. They tried very hard to find a home where we could all stay together but everyone told them "no dogs!" They really did love me so much, and I loved them. When my mommy brought me in to the shelter we were both crying so much.

She told me that the nice people here would take really good care of me and that hopefully one day I would find another family that would love me as much as they did. She told me everything would be OK but I was so confused!

I guess you could say I'm adjusting to my new life. The people here at the animal shelter are so nice to me. Most of them say I'm their favorite, but don't tell the other dogs. I love it when they take me for walks and when they come into my pen and play with me. They tell me they would never guess I was 6 years old, that I act much younger.

Although I love everyone here I really miss having a family of my own. I really hope that my mom was right and that I will find a new family to love very soon!!!
