This little lady is Ella! Ella is an adorable female Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. She is approx. 1 year old and she weighs approx. 10 pounds, fully grown. Ella is up to date on shots and will be spayed before her adoption. Ella's vet records will be transferred to her new owner. Ella is housetrained and she enjoys going for short walks in nice/warm weather or just playing out in the yard for a little while to get some fresh air. She is not crazy about the cold weather, which is why she is cuddled up in her favorite blanket and wearing her cute doggie jacket in her pictures! She likes to be warm and cozy. Which makes her an excellent lap dog! If she sees an open lap, Ella will jump into it and snuggle up with you! She loves it when you pet her, talk to her, roll a ball for her to go after, and just hang out with her. Ella is NOT high energy or high maintenance. She is very calm, mellow, laid-back, easy going and gentle. She prefers the same qualities in her owner/family. Ella has a social personality and she really loves people. She is very friendly and oh so sweet! She is also very curious and intelligent. She started to know her daily routine in foster care within just a day or two of being there, which shows how intelligent she really is. But most of all, Ella is a total cuddlebug! And watch out! Ella loves to give the best doggie kisses!! Ella has slight special needs, which includes a non-contagious skin condition. She will need to go to the vet once in a while to receive a shot to help with her skin condition. She is used to getting these shots and she is well behaved at the vet. Ella will also need a medicated bath once in a while, which just involves a special shampoo. Ella's skin condition does not interfere with her happiness and love of life! She is a wonderful little girl and she can't wait to be adopted!
