My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, there. Sam here. I arrived here in spring 203 with several other dogs. The place we previously lived was busted for cruelty and hoarding. I lost several of my friends to malnutrition and neglect, but I made it out alive!

For a boy who has been through a lot, I’m a great guy who doesn’t show any behavioral problems. I had some big skin issues under my neck and “armpits,” but we are taking care of those. My teeth need a good cleaning as well. And, unfortunately, I was heartworm positive and just finished my slow-kill treatments. I will need to be tested gain in a few months to make sure everything went well, but we’re pretty positive I’m fine.

I’m around 5 or so years old, get along well with dogs and children, and am ready to home with you. I am currently living in a foster home – and loving it! I can’t wait to find my forever one.
