My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isla is a young lady looking to brighten your day. She is absolutely one of the best family pets you could ever dream of. She was rescued from Vieques this past spring. Vieques is an island off of Puerto Rico which is, in addition to being a beautiful vacation spot, overrun with wild horses and stray dogs. She ended up stealing the heart of a New Yorker who couldn't let her end up in the shelter with death almost certainly being her faith. With the help of the ASPCA she was treated medically and boarded on a plane to NYC. She is a Female "Pocket Pittie" Pit Bull/Mix, weighing only 40 lbs, 1 1/2 yrs old, UTD on shots and will be Spayed before re-homed. She is house broken. This sweet and playful pup gets along great with other dogs, cats and children. She is truly a happy go lucky pup waiting to make you smile.
