My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Millie! Millie is a 5 month old German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix. Her mom was a German Shepherd, and dad was an Australian Shepherd. Millie is a very sweet and cuddly puppy who loves her people. She is a little insecure at times, and relies on her people for reassurance in some situations. She does well with other dogs, once she has time to warm up to them after a proper introduction. She doesn't do well when she is stormed by other dogs (she gets nervous/scared). She is currently living in a foster home with multiple other dogs, and does very well with all of those dogs. She does well with the cats in her foster home. She will occasionally show interest in wanting to play with them, but it's nothing harmful. Millie loves to play with toys, and enjoys playing with the other dogs that she knows. She is a very smart girl, and picks up training quickly. She never strays far from her people. She loves to cuddle on the couch with you, or at your feet while you are working. Millie does pretty well in the car. She is crate-trained, and we are working on housetraining. She is not spayed as she are too young (She will be shortly if she is still with us), so this will be the responsibility of the adopter with a spay/neuter contract and a deposit. She has received her first two sets of vaccinations and other initial vetting. If you would like more information or an application, please Email fortheloveofgsd@gmail.com for an application!

*** We are looking to find Millie a home where she won't be home alone for more than 4-5 hours during the day right now (not the typical 8 hour work-day). Can go to a home with children under the age of 7 if family has experience with GSDs or similar breeds. No electric fences!
Please read BEFORE Emailing about these puppies. With puppies under the age of 4 months old, we will not allow them to head to homes where no one is home for 8+ hours a day. Ideally with puppies this young, we are looking for homes where they will be alone for a maximum of 4 hours or less on a regular basis (This doesn't necessarily mean coming home on lunch breaks to let the puppy out and then putting them in a crate again for the rest of the work day). We also won't send puppies to homes where electric fences are in use. We are not a fan of electric fences, and puppies should not even start training with them until they are more developed. These requirements aren't written in stone and can be discussed on a case by case basis. Please inquire with us if any of these pertain to you before taking the time to fill out our application for one of these guys. As with all of the puppies we've had, we are expecting to get a ton of interest/applications for these guys, and filling out an application doesn't guarantee an adoption. There are 3 puppies still available.
