My story

Where do we begin with Sweet Pea? Her story has touched many hearts. When our paths crossed, Sweet Pea was skin and bones and peppered with ticks. It took many hours to catch her and many more days until we gained her trust. Fast forward to today, and Sweet Pea has been re-born. She greets each and every person with a huge wag of the tail and will immediately attempt to kiss you right on the lips! It has been a complete joy to see the progress that kind voices, kind hands have been able to do for Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea (or “Peanut”) loves her daily walks , LOVES the car but would probably prefer to snuggle on a lap than romp with her foster dog friends. There are moments that her past will still show....a loud noise, quick movements; but every day we are seeing wonderful progress. Sweet Pea would do best in a mellow house hold with perhaps a mellow dog friend. She does love kids and would be happy to go to a home with kids who would walk and love on her. She is beautiful and will make the most wonderful companion.
