Dasher's Story...
Am I not the cutest guy ever!? My siblings and I were born on October 15th 2013 and somehow ended up at a shelter. All alone, no mom, and very much too young for a shelter. Believe it or not we were almost going to not make it because there was no room at the inn at the shelter! We deserve so much more! Luckily our foster mom saw what cute little babies we were and saved us so we can have a home for the holidays! If your holiday or New Years Resolution is to add a darling baby to your family contact us for more information! We can't be spayed and neutered until 1/14. We will have all of our shots then and be ready!

He is 4 pounds, updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Meet our dogs! They will be available for adoption at our weekend adoption venues!

To make the process more efficient, download, print, and fill out the adoption application: http://www.bustersfriends.org/dogadoptionapplication.shtml

Please E-MAIL to assure the dog you are interested in will be attending the weekend event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dasher, a Houston Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
