My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spike is a big, beautiful 80-lb. dog who thinks he's still a puppy. He loves to play and go on long walks, which he thinks are wonderful ways to spend time with you. He gets along with most other dogs. Although he may act like a puppy, Spike is neutered, fully housetrained and crate-trained, and is also up to date on all his shots.

He and his good friend Lucy came to Pitty Rescue after their owner died unexpectedly, changing their lives drastically. Lucy has since found her forever home, but Spike is still waiting for his. He seems to remember some experiences in his past that have left him wary of strangers, children and teenagers - but once you're his friend, he’s your friend for life – he'll give you all his love and loyalty, and will protect you from any harm.
