My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joshua is a loveable, huggable 9-week old, 2-lb., puppy! He is part tiger when at play and part sleeping lap dog. When he's on the floor he is full of energy exploring and playing with his toys. When you pick up Joshua, he snuggles into your warmth and falls straight to sleep! Joshua is Morkie, half Maltese, half Yorkie which makes him all toy breed. Joshua enjoys playing with my cavachon, he likes to hang onto her ear and beard which she doesn't mind. He barks towards her then it is her turn to bark and chase him all in good fun.
Joshua is working on peepads as it is too cold to take the little tyke outside in this very cold Ohio winter. I haven't put a leash on him yet and will do that this week.
I recommend a home for Joshua without small children as he could be easily hurt due to his size and a home without overly large dogs. One wrong step or roll on their part and they could smoosh poor Joshua causing him pain and/or injury.
I also recommend puppy school for Joshua and his new person, this creates a bond and trust between person and pooch, plus will get Joshua socialized and used to other people and dogs which is great.

Joshua will need to be neutered when he gets a bit older, so there will be a contract requirement to have that completed. Joshua will be available Feb. 23rd. He is located in Northern Ohio. If interested, please submit an Adoption Application at www.AmericanMalteseRescue.org.
