So Pretty, this Girl is ALEXIS a gorgeous Yellow Lab Mix. Alexis is approx 10- 12 months old, and has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features. Alexis is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, a lovely soft coat coat with beautiful soulful brown eyes that just melt your heart
ALEXIS`S story >>>> Its hard to believe that Alexis found herself in a Florida high kill shelter I cannot think why she would be there. Alexis was on the urgent list. The shelters were full and space was needed, so this gorgeous girl found herself fighting for her life.
Lifeline pulled this adorable girl and brought her into foster for evaluation, we were pleased with the outcome, Alexis is a happy girl and fits in well with the others. Alexis is currently in foster with our fosters female Chow Perla she gets along well with her and loves to play, Alexis is still a puppy so she has a lot of energy and at times can be Hyper she loves to run, play, anything energetic and Alexis is there a chance to run and play she gets excited. She is also very loving and submissive not a mean bone in this girls body.
We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for her. A home that will give her stability and security she needs Alexis has just blossomed in the time she has been with us she is certainly a favorite.
This girl is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she needs.
Alexis will warm to you and just melt your heart. She loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she loves to go for walks, and walks well on a leash and she will come when called. She has been taught some commands sit, down stay and we are working on others , she is energetic, fun and playful. she loves car rides and she is excellent in the car. Alexis is house and crate trained she will go to the door when she needs potty at the moment she is in a routine with her foster and is taken out regularly, She is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine.
Alexis is energetic so a family that does not work long hours would be perfect crating for long hours would not work for this girl.
At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans a typical Velcro girl.
its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her apart from the fact she will jump on you she does get excited when she sees you and we have noticed a little inappropriate chewing at times we have been working on that and she is much better but it does need some more work. Alexis is still very much a puppy so she will still need a firm hand and discipline her manners are not the best. Alexis loves children other dogs and she is fine around cats
Alexis is spayed, current on all vaccinations and she is micro.chipped. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking to find Alexis a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. We dont want to ever find this girl back in a shelter. Alexis is so lovable, and she is good with children. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Alexis will only get better with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Alexis She dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where she can run and play is most probably essential. She would do well with another dog as a companion, she would make a great playmate. Or she would be fine as an only dog with lots of family interaction. She loves toys especially squeaky ones and she will hoard them. With a little more training Alexis will be the perfect dog. Alexis is quite petite weighing in at around 40lb she could possibly use a little more weight we have been working on that aspect
