My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Austin, a great family dog. If you've got kids, a fenced yard, maybe another dog or two, and lots of activity in your home, then this may be the right dog for you and your family, and only about 1 year old, Based on our observations, Austin is very loving, patient with children, playful, active, loves other dogs, and just wants to be at the center of the action. We have found him to be great with kids, other dogs, cats...and loves everyone, especially men. He likes belly rubs, sleeps on his back with one leg sticking up in the air (for effect, I guess, so you won't miss him), he likes to wrestle and play tug 'o war, and he loves his chewies and toys. Oh, and the treats...you can't forget to give him daily (he would say hourly) treats. He's an all-around fun dog who needs regular exercise on a daily basis, so a home where someone is home most of the day or at least part of the day is essential for him. Austin is located in a foster home in VT. He weighs 58 lbs., is housetrained within reason, rides very well in the car, is crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.
