My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a gentle soulful Catahoula Hound mix who was found by the side of the road in rural Texas along with his litter mates, still being nursed by their mother. He has wonderful sad eyes and a big schmushable snout. He is friendly with other dogs, happy to be handled , and good with children. He will be about 60 lbs full grown. He is full of fun, loves to play with other dogs, but also happy just playing with his own toys by himself in the corner. He is good on a leash , a polite passenger in the car - and he has a mellow side that wants to curl up in your lap and go to sleep - even in a restaurant !! He''s a wonderful guy. While he's quiet in the house, he is a growing boy who require a good amount of exercise - so an active household would be great for him. Jack is housetrained, crate trained, microchipped, vaccinated, neutered. He really is a special fellow and we want him to find a special loving home.
