Hey everyone, Lady Bug here! I am loving life outside the shelter. My fosterdad is giving me plenty of love, and a ton of space to run around and burn all my energy. I get so excited when he gets home from work I can hardly contain myself - it starts with a tail wag, and soon enough my entire body is wiggling back and forth.
While I enjoy playing with a variety of toys, nothing gets me amped up to play quite like a rope toy! Tug is awesome!! I've been told it's rude to jump and grab the toy out of fosterdads' hands - one of these days I'll figure out why.
Did I mention I am a quick learner? I love treats, and they keep me focused! How focused you ask? I already know sit, down, touch, and I am getting better at waiting my turn at every door (I've learned it's polite to let others walk into the house first). WI am eager to learn, so with more practice, I will soon master stay and go to mat! (Both things I am working on already).
Since my fosterdad taught me that nothing in life comes free, I know that I have to work for my food. But that's not a problem - I LOVE MY KONG WOBBLER!. Food games were puzzling (pun totally intended) at first, but now I've got the hang of them.
I don't have accidents in the house, and I am crate trained, but would really love to sleep with you at night if you'll let me :) I love playing with other dogs, so a home with a fellow pup would be awesome, but it will definitely take me some time to get used to having a friend around 24/7. When I'm not busy chewing my toys, rummaging through empty boxes, or enjoying a frozen Kong (stuffed to my enjoyment with pumpkin and peanut butter), I will be your best snuggle buddy!
