Why, hello there. My name is Ace. I tend to be a bit shy and stand offish until I feel comfortable with you. I really love the ladies attention and will stay shy around the males for quite a long time, although, I've gotten better about this. I've also gotten very comfortable where I am, but they tell me that they are still searching for a family all of my own, but I'm not sure how I feel about my schedule being messed up... I tend to be nervous, anxious, and not a fan of being left alone, but once I settle into a new routine, I do wonderful and I am an absolutely well behaved boy! I get along with all the other dogs I've met before and never had an issue with any of them...I also get along wonderful with the cats in my foster home. I've been visited by children...and I'm okay with them, as long as they are respectful of me and not mean...otherwise, all I want to do is hide! I am very smart and I have learned many new commands since coming to this foster home. I like to learn things, but I need a very patient person and someone who isn't overly loud about it. I love to chew on bones and I really love car rides too. I love the car rides that end with us going to a store where I can go inside and pick out some yummy treats to take home with me! I am housetrained as long as I have my schedule and know when everything is going to happen...I absolutely hate being kenneled and should not be kenneled as I panic to the point I will hurt myself to get out of the horrible kennel...so I need a home who is willing to work with me and help me adjust without a kennel...I just get so worried that you'll never come back for me but I do very well in a room all to myself or free roam of the house...I just hope that there is a family out there for me who will love me for who I am and help me become the wonderful dog that I know is hidden inside of me!
Ace is approximatley 2-3 years old male and weighs approximately 75-80 pounds. He has been vet checked, started on his vaccinations, heartworm tested (negative), neutered, microchipped, and started on his flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
