My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet super handsome Bobby Kennedy. He was part of a puppy mill Despite all he has been through he really wants love. He is a sweet guy but a bit shy so a quieter home with a patient family would be best. He is warming up quickly in his foster home now that he is learning to trust.

From his foster family: Bobby is shy around people. We don't think he was abused, but probably neglected. He may never be a dog that will crawl up in your lap, but he will lay down next to you to get his ears scratched. Like his buddy (maybe father?) Nelson he's very mellow, more than happy to just hang out and nap. He does like to go outside and will run after toys, but he doesn't quite grasp the concept of returning it to you. He and Nelson are inseparable. Since they were first reunited at our house they've rarely been out of site of each other. They haven't had it easy so we're really hoping to adopt them out together.

All of our dogs have been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, had rabies, bordetella and distemper/lepto/parvo vaccines as well as been de-wormed and had flea medication applied. They come with a free vet check at Mt. Tabor Vet Care. We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We don't adopt our small dogs out to families with children under 6 years of age. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application and check references. Pound to Posh is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters.
