My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Contact: Linda at 704-900-8019, or complete online application and send email to lindabrownarc@gmail.com.

Brook is a sweetie, found on Brookshire Blvd. wandering around and almost hit by a car. Brook is now safe, totally vetted, Hw-, RABIES, and spayed. Appears to be housetrained, quiet and well mannered. We love Brook at the shelter, but needs her own momma to care and love her. Brook is 12 lbs and a little chunky. Obviously has had puppies at one time and she waddles when she walks. Very cute but could stand to lose a few pounds and more exercise with her new mom.. Gets along with other dogs, cats and when you talk to her, her face is very expressive like she knows what you are saying. Vet thinks she is 2-3 yrs of age. Adoption fee is $140.00 and is ready to go.

ARC is now showing our rescued, adoptable pets at PetSmart #1509 at S. Tryon St. and Hwy 160 near Lake Wylie on Saturdays 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Please tell your friends and family to stop by and meet our rescued pets. You can also meet the adoptable pets during the week & weekends by calling 704-900-8019 to set up a convenient time and the location

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, rabies (age permitting). All dogs over 4-6 months of age are already spayed or neutered, has been vaccinated for parvo, etc. and rabies, HW tested and microchipped.

We don't know what these animals have gone through and endured, (or why) in their past lives to end up here. The only thing we can do is try, hope and pray we can give them a brighter future. We want our rescued pets to have stable, loving homes where they can get lots of love, attention and live out the remainder of their lives.

Animal care can be costly. Please consider whether you can afford and want the responsibility of a pet before you adopt so they never have to be homeless and end up in a shelter again.
