Little Higgins was found in a rural area, starving and covered with mats and fleas. He was in really bad shape when the Good Samaritan saved him and then called us for help. Now this scruffy little lover is all fixed up, and ready for his forever home. He's had the entire spa treatment including surgery to repair his 'cherry' eye, teeth cleaned, neutered, and he's heartworm free! He is an affectionate little thing, but he still runs with the big dogs... well, a little behind the big dogs, but he tries hard to keep up - All ten pounds of him! He will sit up and even dance for his treats. Soo cute! We believe he is a Yorkie mix, 4 to 5 years of age, and his gold-colored eyes are one of his special attributes. With all of the 'feathering' around his face, he almost looks like an owl! A precious, precious little soul who craves love, is grateful to be alive, and will give back more than he gets!
