Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Princess and I am a 7yr old 13lb Poodle mix and as sweet as can be. I do not shed but I can not be guaranteed to be hypo-allergenic.
My Mom and Dad had me since I was a baby but sadly tragedy has struck my family twice, I lost my Daddy first then my Mommy got sick and could no longer care for herself or me and had to go to a nursing home. Right now I am staying with immediate family because we all hoped I would go back to my Mom but that is not the case. My immediate family loves me and know with thier busy schedule that I need to find a home where someone can spend time with me and care for me properly. They are not home enough with everyone going to college full time, the other grandma busy doing her thing and selling their home.
I was housebroken but recently have had a couple accidents that is why I need someone that has a schedule that can work for me, I can't wait that long (a full day) to be let out to do my thing and now my busy family is trying to making sure I get let out more frequently.
I get along and live with cats and do well with other dogs but I am not a pup that is going to run around and play with other dogs. I will not fetch a ball or play with toys either, in fact if I have a toy all I do is gaurd them so it is best I don't have any. I am a relaxed, hang out, go for walks, snuggle type of dog and I really love women the best and take time to warm up to men, but thats only because it has been me and Mom for so long. I do well with older children, I have not been around younger children and will be adopted to an adult family only.
I do have one issue and that is I will guard a rawhide bone or chew type of treat. I will growl and snap if you try to take it away from me so my family just doesn't give them to me. Unless you are dog savy and know how to work with this issue it's just easier to prevent it all together or leave me alone while I have my bone.
The rescue wants to be honest and I have had a couple accidents but we do believe it is due to the potty schedule and possible stress with people coming and going with the sale of the home.
