Fraser is a handsome black and white Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix who turned 1 year old on March 30th! Fraser is pretty calm for such a young boy, and a lover! He is a little shy of strangers but that goes away quickly. Fraser is housetrained, knows how to "sit", and has pretty decent manners. We will be working on teaching him new commands and crate training him! Fraser has been around and does well with cats and other dogs. He has not been tested with children yet but we do not expect a problem from him.
Fraser came into rescue with his brother, Mungo. Mungo is a lot more outgoing than Fraser, but his brother's presence seems to bring him out of his shell and once Mungo has decided that something is okay, Fraser is quick to follow suit. These boys have different personalities but seem to compliment each other and are quite attached to one another. They like to curl up together to sleep, and are never far from each other. Because they are young and would easily learn to live without one another, we are not making it a requirement that these two get adopted together. However, we are lowering their adoption price to $250 for both boys instead of our regular $180 for one dog in an effort to find them a home together.
More about Fraser as we get to know him!
