My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Melba is an 11 pound sweet, subdued and painfully shy female terrier mix. Her milk chocolate brown coat, low shedding and healthy, is unruly, whiskery and tipped with white around her muzzled and caramel colored eyes. She is housebroken and good with other dogs- and is deeply bonded to Morty.

Morty is a 12 pound male rat terrier, a beautiful, shiny and athletic representation of the breed- living life on full tilt. He sports a two-tone lustrous brown and white coat that begs to be stroked and his clear amber colored eyes are full of intelligence, mirth and mischief. Morty is housebroken and good with other dogs and he loves, loves loves his Melba.

Morty and Melba were raised together and move as a unit: Morty prompting Melba to be more socially engaged with humans; Melba calming Monty and helping him to reign in his exuberance. They are yin and yang, rabble-rouser and governor, life of the party and wallflower. Two parts of a whole, Morty and Melba are a dynamic duo who will be adopted out together (for a ‘single dog’ adoption fee). Together, they each make the other a happier dog.
