My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you interested in your own little comedy show everyday? I am here to
entertain. My name is Glory Bee and I am a hound. I look like a redbone but I
am smaller. They say I am about 5-6 months old and I weigh in at about 35
pounds. I am a girl and have been spayed and am up to date on all of my
vaccines.

My foster mom says that I am not very smart but let me tell you what I can do!
I can get my own food off of the counter and don't mind helping myself at all.
If I can't reach it, I will let you know that you put it too far away and all
you have to do it move it a tad closer and I will get it! I can play with
kitties. They LOVE me. One is really old so I shove her around the house with
my nose. She yells, I am pretty sure it's because she is having fun. One is
middle aged and he pets me on the head with his paws. Can you believe that he
has teeth on those things?? He needs to figure that out cause that hurts.
There is young cat too. She won't come play with me. I don't understand.

I also play with my foster brother and sisters dogs. I love them. They get
particular at the food bowl and won't let me join them so I just stand back and
sing them the song of my people while they eat. They seem to enjoy my serenade.

When I came to my foster family I did not understand a lot of things. Like they
kept saying, "Glory Bee" over and over and over. I have finally figured out
that they will stop if I look at them. Sometimes I even go let them pet me when
they do this. Seems to make them happy.

I can also show anyone that comes to visit me where the cookies are kept. I
even let them feed me one or two or three.

I have a crate in the garage. That's where I sleep - sometimes. Lately I have
been sleeping on the couch (are you beginning to get the idea behind who is
training whom here??).

When I first came here I had no problem going to pee pee or poop inside. I
really didn't mind it or see a problem with that. But, you know what, I have
decided that that is pretty disgusting. I have to live in that house! So, I
still have an occaissional pee pee accident but try really hard to go outside
for this.

I am fun. I am funny. I like being with my people. I have visited the
neighbors. I like sitting on their porches and playing with their dogs. I have
a tag with my foster mom's phone number so they call her and she comes and picks
me up. She has a long driveway (1/2 mile) and once I get to the neighbor's to
visit and play a while I am very tired so she has to come get me. The neighbors
are all the way at the end of the driveway.

I am a puppy however I am not like most puppies. I LOVE my toys. I don't like
the things mom wears on her feet, they are gross. I prefer my toys. Squeaky
ones are the BEST! I am a live wire in short bursts. I can run like a wild
woman for about 15 minutes but then it is nap time. I like nap time - a lot!

My foster dad comes home from work and walks through the woods every evening.
He usually walks two laps through the woods. One is PLENTY for me and I go back
to the house. Did I mention that I like naps??
