Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy Post - Needs Loving Home: This is a Courtesy Posting Only: Charlotte Cocker Rescue is not to be held responsible for the health or temperament of this dog. He is currently under the care of his owner who wants/needs to find him a new forever loving home. He has epilepsy, which is controlled by medicine and he is doing well.
My name is T J. I am a very sweet cocker spaniel boy who just turned 6 years old on April 2nd, 2014. I am looking for a new forever home and someone to love me for the special boy that I am. My owner has a very stressful, demanding, time consuming job. She is heartbroken over this decision to give me up, but due to her work schedule, long hours and the stress that goes with
it, she feels that I deserve more attention and love than she can give me right now.
I am current on shots, neutered and I am on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention too. I am a very friendly guy, I love going on walks, giving kisses, cuddling, chasing birds and I have fun barking at the trash truck every Monday. I enjoy being with other dogs unless they seem aggressive and then I withdraw. I have never been around cats, so I am a bit fearful of them, I adore children and I love to play with all of my toys. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was a year and a half old, but I wasn't put on any medication until January of 2013. Since then, I have not had any seizures and I am pretty good about taking it. My owner dearly loves me and I have had a great life with her, but due to her hectic, stressful work schedule and personal issues, I really need to find a new forever, loving home with a family or a nice couple that can spend lots of time with me. I will even do well with a retired family, someone who works from home or with a family that is home a lot and would enjoy a sweet, wonderful, very loving, new best friend and companion.
When I do find my new home, I will bring my favorite bed, toys and my medicine. My Mom tells me
that I will be a great addition to someone's family and that I will be a wonderful companion for you to share a great life with........There will be a $200 adoption fee for me..... My owner just wants to make sure that I get a great home, someone to love me and that you can afford to take care of my medical needs and normal routine care too.
If you are interested in adopting this wonderful, very handsome cocker boy, you can send an
email message to his owner Kerri Bumgarner at: kerri_bumg@yahoo.com and in the subject line, put TJ's name so that she will know that it is about him. He is a real sweetheart, will make you smile and he will be a great best friend and companion. Serious inquires only and his adoption fee is $200.
