My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Ryder. Isn't that a cool name? For a cool girl? My life has been pretty tough, I was dumped in a southern high kill shelter and was very scared and alone. I'm quite shy and unsure of myself and people and I need someone who will teach me that people mean great things (like treats, for instance--those are so yummy!)

I like other dogs of all shapes and sizes and I'm even OK with cats! I'm crate trained, too! I'm looking for a nice family with older children (because I am so scared), cats and dogs are OK with me. You'll need to be patient with me but I promise I'm worth the wait!

Ryder is on restricted activity after successful heartworm treatment for the next few weeks but should have no lasting effects now that treatment is complete. She will be spayed once her restrictions are lifted.
